I had a question about a batch search strategy for SD. We have set up a standard batch search strategy using VCH1 with LOBM batch characteristics with min rem shelf life > 0, and some other ones including a sort rule of exp date, date of last goods receipt, status of batch as ascending.
When the delivery is created it is suggesting a batch which has expired and has zero stock.
Does this search strategy have to be enhanced using batch determination routines and assign it to the batch search strategy OR is there a standard way of doing this in SAP
