History Changes for Table in SAP HANA

Hello,

I would like to see the history changes for a particular table in HANA. For eg, Let us assume that we had 10 fields in the table and we noticed there are 5 more new fields some X Person has added. Now I would like to know, who has added the new 5 fields. In addition, do we really have any option like Version management comparison for the old changes with the new changes ?

Hi Hermanth,

if you set up Auditing before the objects had been modified, you could check the audit log.

However, the database catalog is not a object version repository.

There's no way to see how older versions of the same objects looked like in the catalog.

If you create/change your tables via the XS application environment, then you could leverage the version management of the development repository.
