Error while saving customer master "ENTER ONLY IN FROM BADI"

Hello SAP specialists,

I get an error message while saving a customer master data in SAP SD.

The error reads as "ENTER ONLY IN FROM BADI"

I am an intermediate SAP user, not sure what the error means.

Requesting your valuable suggestions to get rid of this error.

I have also attached a print screen of the screen that system takes me to when the error pops.

To me it does not look SAP standard error message. Can you double click on the message and post the error message number. Also check with an ABAP'er whether any user exit is used to provide the message.

when I am trying to double click on the error it is not opening the windows.

So I am not able view the error description.

Hi,

You can put /H in the command bar before saving the customer master and execute, it will go to debugging mode where you can find the message number

if not ask your abaper to debugg and find out whether any setting is missing

Hopefully it is could be something specific to your project

Hi Kishore,

It seems your project has used some customization to do changes in customer master only from BADI, restricting users from making changes through XD02. You can contact other SD guys from your team to find out more about this customization.

You can an ABAPer to debug and find out where this message is coming from? There should be some business requirement to do this customization.
