MM-SUS for the extended classic scenario?

Hi,

We are doing implementation and we are planning to go for extended classic scenario.

Direct procurement is handling in ECC and where as service and indirect procurement will be handled in SRM.

Can we implement the MM SUS with extended classic scenario, if yes, how can we handle the confirmation/GR for the indirect procurement and service procurement?

Hi Venkat,

in the extended classic SRM scenario you cannot use MM-SUS. Because in ECS the PO will be created in SRM, you will need to use the SRM-SUS scenario. However there is a limitation for the ECS scenario in SRM-SUS, it is restricted to document types PO and PO resposne, confirmation and invoice documents are not supported. More info in SAP note 543544.
