Hi Anaath,

If you copy

000-- 800 an dthen 700--800 so the final data in client 800 will be the same as 700.

could you please explain in details about your doubt.

Hi Ananth,

Yes Atul is right, client 800 will have only 700 data.

Which profile have you used in both copies?

Thanks,

Venkat

I've used Typical Profile for the transfer from 700 to 800. What's my doubt is might this multiple copy from different client to single target client will cause any problem in future. That's my only thing i'm getting fear. It'll will not cause such a thing right ? also while using the 'Typical Profile' for transfer it'll copy all the user & pw from the source to target right ?

Hi Sakthi,

I think we are clear on the fact that only one client's data gets copied to the other.

So it doesn't matter if you go for n number of client copies.

What profile are you using to copy from the source system?

The one with user master data will help copy users along with authorizations.

Hi Sakthi,

Then it would have the user master data of client 700.

Thank You so much. But the Copy from 700 to 800 client was not completed instead i got the error after 4 hrs since the copy starts 'dbif_rsql_sql_error'. Can you people guess what might be cause of the error please. ?

Hi Sakthi,

This looks like space issue in your target client.

You should always run the 'RSSPACECHECK' report prior to running the client copy to assess space requirement.

Also, do a test run before attempting the real one.
