Translation of short text in QS51

Like in QS41, is it possible to maintain short text translations in various languages in QS51. I am not finding any option in QS51 to maintain short text translations in various language. If I login in SAP in any other language and maintain text, then the previous text will be overwritten. Is it restricted in SAP for T Code: QS51.

In QS41, it is allowed to maintain translation for short text.

Can you please guide me, if there is an option for translation in QS51.

No.  Your selected sets (QS51) are created at a plant level.  So you create the selected set in the primary language of the plant.  (i.e. login with the language you want it create in).

Hi, Just to add to the above we had the same issue and managed to find a
work around with some bespoke programming. Essentially we added the plant
language to the short test field and then all the potential language variants
to the Description long text area (via change editor), each language variant
being identified by its alpha prefix, i.e.

English as “ENText”

French as “FRText”

German as “DEText”

Etc.

Unfortunately can’t give the exact details of the programming involved.
