How to edit only few fields in the PO after pressing EDIT button

Hi Experts,

I started working on one object , for which i am new to SAP SRM technical.

I need to edit the PO, using EDIT button.

If i press EDIT button each and every component of the PO screen is in editable mode.I want only few components to be in editable .

Any help is appreciated

I would just use the field control that is standard available in SRM.

(SPRO -> SRM -> SRM Server -> Cross Application Basic Settings -> Extensions and Field Control (Personalization) -> Configure Field Control -> Configure Control for Fields on Header Level.

And the same for Items and Substructure (such as accounting data, partner data and so on).

If this should be the same for everyone - no additional influence of the fields is necessary or you could use some generic dynamic classes to influence the display of the field. However, you will need to do this for every field.
