Hi guys,
We have been using SAP 4.7 Enterprise since 7 yrs. recently we migrated our hardware. Installed SAP 4.7 on new hardware and restored the old database. Everything is working fine except that we are unable to move our transport request from quality to production. I believe that this is because we have changed our system number from 00 to 90.
So I deleted TMS and created a new one. But still I am getting an error when I create a RFC destination - service '?' unknown.
So I checked to see if the correct entries are available in services file of production and its fine.
Problem I assume is the wrong configuration of SLD. So I tried with RZ70, service _SLD_GWSRV and it is giving me error : service 'sapgw91' unknown.
service name expected is sapgw90. I set this in my default profile and also in rz70 in SLD Bridge: Gateway Information. But still I get the same error.
Please help!!!.
Thank you for the support.
MAM.
Thank you guys.
I have already checked that the entries in services file and its correct.
sapgw90 | 3390/tcp | # SAP System Gateway Central Instance Port |
sapgw90s | 4890/tcp | # SAP System Gateway Security Port |
Please put some insight guys. I need help desperately.

There are a few other threads out there with similar issues for service unknown for the gateway. Ensure that you have the correct entry in your services file. One other thing to note, after the last entry in your services file make sure there is an empty line at the bottom. I've encountered issues where the last line does not get read when there's not an empty line at the end of the file.

Hi Naeem
Have you checked the connection to the SLD with transaction SLDCHECK?
