Dear Gurus,
We are running SRM 7.02 and MM-SUS Scenario
We are also having Plan-Driven Procurement, Self Service Procurement and Bidding
We want to activate SUS-ROS.
How we have to activate ROS? Supplier Qualification with SRM Server or Supplier Qualification with ERP?
Second Question: Once activated ROS, every supplier has to be created through the Supplier Registration system? No more Suppliers created in ERP (XK01) ?
Thanks
Ezequiel
Hi Ezequiel,
Im implementing the same scenario and we implement Supplier Registration in ERP with customizign switch activated.
We activate switch SRM_SUCO_1 and SRM_701_SUP_REG also.
With reference to transfer vendors from ERP if you have ROS activated, there is a configuration In SPRO->SAP Reference IMG -> Supplier Relationship Management-> Supplier Self Services-> Master Data-> Make Settings for Business Partners the flag "Use Self Registration Component" , SAP documentation (SRM215) indicates that "If ROS is enabled vendor replication from ERP will not longer work because the system assumes that vendors will only come from ROS registration".
You can find futher information about ROS in Supplier Qualification document from sap marketplace or the follow help link :
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_srm702/helpdata/EN/70/328ff69b4748fe94e17ef9dd7077c7/frameset.htm
Hope this help,
Celeste

Hi Celeste,
I´m working with Ezequiel in the same project.
My concern is related to the vendor activities to be performed in SUS, once it was created following supplier registration activities or steps (Supplier registration in ERP).
Could Vendor be able to process PO´s (MM-SUS scenario) and also submit quotations for RFx´s (Bid Decoupling Scenario) in SUS portal?
Thanks in advance.
Best Regards,
Horacio
Hi Ezequiel
Regarding your second question, and what Celeste explained, the flag "User Self Registration Component" means that, once activated, you won't be able to 'replicate/send' vendors from MM to SUS (as an initial load). Then, the process continues that they will receive an email to complete the creation of their user.
You will be able to create vendors in XK01, but won't be able to send to SUS from MM once that flag is activated.
Regards,
Martín
