Hello all,
I have a batch job created with 6 steps in, the first 3 stepsdo not create a spool at all, is there some setting I am missing as I have been informed that these steps used to create a spool request?
thanks in advance
Guy
the first 3 steps are as follows:-
1 - Constency Check for existing time series Networks No Spool
2 - Create Characterisitc combinations No Spool
3 - Constency Check for existing time series Networks No Spool
4 - Calculate Proportional Factors OK
5 - Load Planning Area version OK
6 - Raise Event for APO DP OK
I have checked the settings and on steps 1 to 3 the log creation has been selected.

Hai,
Consistency check jobs will create a spool only if the job has corrected some inconsistencies. Otherwise there would be no spool. You can see the job log and probably it would say that the job is successfully finished.
Similarly, Charcom creation job would not create a spool, if there are no new charcoms generated during the job. On such occasions, job log would specify that "all combinations exist".
Hope this helps you.

Ok the 2 jobs I am running are 2 SAP standard programs
/SAPAPO/TS_LCM_COMS_CHECK
/SAPAPO/TS_PLOBS_GENERATE
The first job I do get a log created and all the recent entries in the log are green 🐵
The second job I have the results log selected, but am unable to display the Logs (says "No log exists") is there a transaction that I can display old logs?
I have run both of these programs on the quality system but am unable to run on the Production system due to authorizations
Hi Guy
What are the programs in the the steps that dont create the spool?
Pl check the programs and see if there are options to set a Log
If so ensure the variant in your job has the Log option checked
