BW / BI - Monitoring missing

Hi,

I'm looking into BPMon and how to monitor process chains - I have been checking these guides:

Currently I am on a Solution Manager 7.1 SP6 and the process for doing it is different, but I have been checking the principle and I think the issue I am having, is that I don't have "Background Processing" in my monitor.

The closest thing I have are is the monitor called "Process Chain Monitor for Banking Products"

Any ideas on why "Background Processing" aint showing up or which monitor I have to use for Solution Manager 7.1 SP6.

Hi Nicolai,

since the blogs were written the whole setup environment changed of course as you sure observed yourself. It actually changed with SP5 (see http://scn.sap.com/community/it-management/alm/solution-manager/blog/2012/06/06/heads-up-set-up-envi...). One thing that you have to keep an eye on is that job monitoring can only be configured for BPMon, i.e. in the context of a business process / step. It is not available for Business Process Analytics, i.e. in the context of a logical component.

Nowadays the background processing is a filter in the Cross-Application section.
