Translation WEB UI(ITSM) in Russian

hi all,

when i start transaction sm_crm with a logon language RU, in web UI some of the item dont translated, like this:

how can i translate this item to the russian correct?

Hi Anton,

There is two options:

You can rename Workcenters in CRMC_UI_NBLINKS

1. Choose your role
2. Press double click on Assign Work Center To... here you will find wich Worcenters are used by this Role. Find you workcenter Home it might be name like IT-SP-HOME
3. Then go to Work Centers and find it here you can rename it.
4. To rename objects of this UI you can use UI_WORKBENCH for object AIC_IM_MYINCDNT( but here you may need ABAP skills to find what and where to rename ).

Hi Dan!

following you hint 1-3 i can translate object selected black, but this action dont translate main title 'Home'. Using you hint 4 i can translate objects selected green. Using transaction 'sotr_edit' i can translate object selected blue.

Also i still dont know how translate types of message for the dropbox selected red.

Objects in dropdown list is filled from aliases

'AI_CRM_IM_UI/INCIDENT',

'AI_CRM_IM_UI/INCIDENTS',

'AI_CRM_IM_UI/SRVREQ',

'AI_CRM_IM_UI/SRVREQS'

'AI_CRM_IM_UI/MESSAGE','

AI_CRM_IM_UI/MESSAGES',

'AI_CRM_IM_UI/SLFN',

'AI_CRM_IM_UI/SLFNS'.

Translate them also in SOTR_EDIT

Also if you want to debug put break point in this method:

cl_wd_utilities=>get_otr_text_by_alias

Now about Title "Home" it is workcenter's title

you can rename it like i said in CRMC_UI_NBLINKS

first find business role what you are using for example here is IT-SP-HOME

Dont exit transaction

Now go to Define Work center

Sorry but i havn't SANDBOX yet in this system i do not want to make changes...

Anton my recomendation for you USE as less ABAP as possible, because when Client will want to upgrade there SOLMAN for new SP lvl f.e. it will be pain in your ass to recheck rework all ABAPed stuff ...

Following you tips about title "home" i've checked spro settings there all the right.

but the main title is still show 'Home'.

Well we do translating all systems nvm..joking

About Confirm and Withdraw do it like in my prevous answer

Steps to do this:

1. SE24 = class name CL_AIC_INCI_INCIDENTOV_IMPL
2. Choose line with CON Confirm, for Withdraw try to look it here
3. Now choose Goto-Translation

About Save and Reply try to find Alias or you can always rename them in DO_PREPARE_OUTPUT

But i don't recommed to do this.

You can enhance component AIC_INCIDENT_H in transaction BSP_WD_CMPWB

View AIC_INCIDENT_H/IncidentOV

do this in Toolbar related Methods "IF_BSP_WD_TOOLBAR_CALLBACK~GET_BUTTONS"

CODE:

  CALL METHOD super->if_bsp_wd_toolbar_callback~get_buttons
    RECEIVING
      rt_buttons = rt_buttons.

You may rename buttons in table rt_buttons.

I found the class name with debug. You can translate "Withdraw" in class CL_AIC_IM_R_INCIDENTOV_IMPL from se24

Okay okay let's see...

I have checked this on my sysem and found that this Text is taken from class

CL_AIC_HOME_HOMEOV_IMPL

Steps to do this:

1. SE24 = class name CL_AIC_HOME_HOMEOV_IMPL
2. Now choose Goto-Translation
3. Translate it and check it.

Check this Solution and please give some feedback if this help you.

Don't know why this text is not covered by Alias...

so there is only possiblity to maintain it as translation with fixed maximum length 8

If you need more than 8 characters you can do it by Implicit enhancment

What SP lvl your solman is ?
