Automatic creation of Characteristic combination

Hi gurus,

when ever new product is introduced we create the integragion model & CIF it to APO...after this the charecteristics combonation are generated automatically whenever the the demand is released...

but for some new product location hte characteristic are not getting generated automatically... and when i try to create them manually still the Demand From DP is not able to get released to SNP..

Pl help to resolve this issue

Can you try executing "/SAPAPO/TS_PAREA_INITIALIZE" for your planning area?

How is your characteristic combination generated automatically? Can you track the job that does it through the background jobs?

it should most probably be a variant with the program

/SAPAPO/TS_PLOBS_GENERATE. Can you also see if there is a log file with the job.

In the second paragraph you say that Demand is not released to SNP. Can you see what the log file says during the release?
