To trigger a mail/notification whenever there is "full lot reject/partial lot rejected" for inspe. type 01

Dear experts,

As QM is not my core field but got opportunity to map a scenario, The requirement of user is to trigger a mail/notification(which will go to stores deptt.i.e who has done GR) whenever there is "full lot reject/partial lot rejected" at the time of UD for inspection type 01.

Please suggest step by step approach to configure this.........

Hello Amit,

You can send mail on accept/reject.

Though i dont remember much but below points will start you.

IMG>Quality Management>Quality Notifications>Notification Creation>Notification Content>Define Catalog Profile--here use QM0000001 and assign catalog 3 in "Catalogs / code groups".

IMG>Quality Management>Quality Notifications>Notification Creation>Notification Content>

Catalogs and Catalog Profiles for Notification Type--here assign catalog profile to Q1.

Go to QS51 and assign MAIL2(play with other options) in follow-up action column

create inspection lot,record result and make UD--You will get mail in your inbox.

For your requirement to send mail to GR user,you need to write your own FM with required logic.
