SAP Solution Manager 7.1 Installation - kernel software

Hi all,

I'm trying to install

• SAP Solution Manager 7.1 Support Release 1

using SAP NetWeaver Software Delivery Tool.

I downloaded software from Sap Service Marketplace.  The matter is that I cannot find "Kernel NW 7.20 / 7.21" software in marketplace (label SAP:AKK:72:UKERNEL). All media I downloaded have a label like "SAP:AKK:720_EXT:DVD_KERNEL: ... " (all with *DVD_KERNEL* label). Can someone help me?

for DB you need to download separate DVDs.

I'm trying to install Solution Manager with MSSQL Server db. In fact, I don't see the following one from marketplace:

Have you tryed this path?

SW download --> Installation and and upgrade --> My Company's Software -->  SAP SOLUTION
MANAGER --> SAP SOLUTION MANAGER 7.1 --> kernel for installation/SWP --> kernel 720 UC 64 bit

here you can find 51045941_6 720_EXT UC Kernel for SWPM SP02 - Windows Server x64 64bit

that shoud be what you need.

That's perfect!

I saw that section (kernel for installation) but I didn't try that link (I tried the one without "UC"). Which is the difference?

UC means UniCode, without UC means NO Unicode.
