HANA Virtual Cube Function Module

Hi All,

Currently we have say Virtual Cube V1, it is connected to the HANA Calc view CV1.

But now the CV1 has been renamed as CV2(in the HANA side)

The only way now to connect to CV2 is again creating a new Virtual Cube and pointing it to Calc View CV2

or

Is there any Function Module/Program where in we can change the CV1 that is pointing to V1 as CV2 to point V1 instead of CV1?

Any suggestions would be really great.

if i understand you question correctly, CV1 is created on V1 and it is renamed to CV2.

Since you have changed the name of CV1 to CV2, in the database there will not be anymore CV1. only CV2 will be existing.

I agree it CV1 doesnt exist and CV2 exists now.

But still the V1 is pointing to the CV1, how can i change such that V1 should point to CV2?

Is there any FM or Program?

Hi Prashanth,

Before CV1 was mapped to V1, like example how we map a FM to a Virtual Cube.

But now in the HANA side they have changed the calc view to CV2.

So in BW side still the V1 is pointing to CV1.

So how to change the V1 to point to CV2 instead of it pointing to CV1 is the issue?
