Error while extracting installation file.

Hi Experts,

We are installing sap NW 7. I have downloaded all DVDs required.We have

following zip files downloaded from portal.

51033506_5.ZIP

51044870_1.ZIP

51044873.ZIP

I am trying to unzip these files by right click - extract. But it

asking to give me passwords for diff files (eg. 'BUILD INFO' file). Can any one please advice which password it is asking for & from where I can give it.

Hello,

I have seen this issue twice and it was solved using the below steps.

1. Download the files again from the SMP (it ensures that files downloaded are not corrupted).

2. Then try to unzip it on your system. I use Windows 7 and it did not ask me password.

  i've downloaded 51043738_1 and the unzip didn't ask me any password,  can you paste me the path where you downloaded your files?

I have downloded it on my local desktop in 'my documents'. I am trying to unzip it because i can't unzip it once moved to server.

can you explain where did you find those files in marketplace, i mean which db server,  op system and so on
