Hello,
I am upgrading my server to ERP 6 EHP6.
Source version is SAP ECC6 with EHP4 SP11. Upgrading to EHP6 SP5.
During the Preprocessing phase I am stuck in the phase
MAIN_INIT/JOB_RSVBCHCK2. I find the following log:-
CHECK OF UPDATE TASK ERRORS and RETURN CODE in RSVBCHCK.EV1
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
1 ETH010XRSVBCHCK: Check of open update requests
A2EEMCEX 151 Entries for application "03" still exist in the
extraction queue ->
A2EEMCEX 141 Struct. appl. "03" cannot be changed due to setup
table -> Long text" ""MC03BF0SETUP""500"
Can anyone help?
Regards
Suniana
If you are still in uptime and there is productive operation going on then you may go ahead ignoring the error
In general this is the rule of thumb :
Make sure that you have cleaned up all outstanding updates and for
4.x and higher, all outbound queue RFC calls by the JOB_RSVBCHCK_R or
JOB_RSVBCHCK_D phase (during downtime) at the latest.
Please see 689574 -> Section: Phase JOB_RSVBCHCK2
Section: Phase JOB_RSVBCHCK2
The text should say:
"If errors occur in this phase and you are still in production
operation you can skip these errors with ignore without entering a
password.
Hi,
For now you can ignore the error during downtime when job JOB_RSVBCHCK_D fails you can follow instructions in SAP Note:1705774
Hello
You need to clean up the queues shown in Tx SMQ1.
Process them using the Tx LBWE - "Job Control" link in the "Update" column.
Plan a job with the start date "Immediate".
Also reorganize the incomplete update requests:
Good Luck
