Critical - JCA adapters in EAI to make RFC call to SAP

Hi Gurus,

We are working on a project where interfaces in EAI are being moved from WBS adapters to JCA adapters. (I am not an EAI guy, I am SAP. So apologies for any wrong use of terminology)

But we are experiencing 1 issue in this migration.

Current WBS adapters, when they make RFC BAPI call in SAP, they get all the parameters back in response, input as well as output parameters. (From SAP point of view, Importing, Exporting and Tables; EAI can see all the parameters in response)

But with new adapters, JCA; they cannot see input parameters back in the response. They see only output parameters. (From SAP point of view; EAI can see only Exporting parameters and Tables in the response).

EAI team has checked the configuration of adapters and it looks all fine. If anyone has any insight or pointer to this issue, it will be a great help.

This is very critical issue and may impact our go-live. So any help will be highly appreciated.

May i know how you are triggering BAPI from EAI to SAP?

Did you check SM58?

also check the audit log : SM20

System log : SM21
