MDM Workflow Job not created after a Workflow launch by Portal

I work on SAP MDM version 7.1 SP 08.

I have been facing an issue in which a Workflow Job for a particular Workflow is found to be missing after this workflow is launched by Portal Application.

Portal creates a record and then launches this workflow (say WF1) on that record.

I have observed that the workflow gets launched and completes (as it makes the required assignments and also launches the next workflow (say WF2) assigned at the Stop Step).

But the problem is when I check Completed Workflows in Data Manager, I cannot find the Workflow Job of WF1. However, the next Workflow Job (of WF2) is present in a completed state.

Can anyone please comment a possible reason for this issue.

Do you see WF1 in the workflow log with another status?
