Error in enabling UDMS: Not able to define search criteria

Former Member

Dear All,

I am configuring user defined search on my SAP PI 7.3 server  as defined in this document

http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/803b22cf-ad75-2f10-0790-da055f2e8...

I am done with step 5.1 (Define Filter).

After defining filter i am not able to do step 5.2. Once i double click on the filter defined in step 5.1, nothing happens. No windows opens as shown in this document.

Since no error is coming and nothing is happening after step 5.1 , I am completely stopped and clueless what to do.

Please suggest if any check is there which can enable this functionality to enable Search filter.

Thanks

Hi,

1. create filter

2. do not check on active check box

2. double click on the filter

3. when you select the filter you will not see the search criteria

4. you have to scroll down as mentioned by Bhargava

5. then you can find it

6. create the search criteria

7. double click on search criteria

8. scroll towards right side

9. there you can define Namespace Prefixes

10. Now go back to created filter

11. Again edit the filter

12. Now check the active check box

13. then you can continue with step 5.4

For screen shots you can refer above replies.

Muniyappan.

Hi Sharma,

Find the below screen shots

I have created filter for the interface as below.

After that just double click on it.

and scroll down the screen, you will find the below screen

so just double click the filter which you have created and scroll down the page and click on add button under search criteria, you can able to set the search criteria.

Hope it will helpful..
