Document Distribution: Mail received as express mail

Hi Experts,

Is there any option that when document is distributed it is recevied as express mail or some information mail is sent to his personal mail id mapped in the SAP user ID.

Please suggest the solution.

Hi Pankaj,

normally if a document info record gets distributed by using distribution type INT there should be a mail sent to the receipients.

Dear Christoph,

I have used the distribution type RML. So user receives the document in his inbox but if user does not open the SAP inbox he will never come to know about the inbox item.

So I wants if there is some way that infomation mail can be sent to the personal mail id provided in his user ID so that there is confirmation that some document has been distributed to him.

Please help or suggest the way out.
