Help: billing settlement days for monthly billing on the last 3 days

Dear experts,

We configured standard monthly billing for contracts.

But we noticed following behaviour by sap:

If the contract start date is in the last 3 days of the month, the next settlement date is counted backward in next month. E.g.

Contract starts on 2013.05.29

Billing cycles are:

2013.05.29 - 2013.06.27

2013.05.28 - 2013.07.28

What we are expecting is:

2013.05.29 - 2013.06.28

2013.05.29 - 2013.07.28

Is there any configuration can influence this behaviour? And how to handle Feb (28 days / 29 days)?

No luck with calendar.

In the end, we will do nothing about the settlement dates, but during invoice printing, we will print according to billing dates, which will "cheat" the system about the settlement period.

I am trying to define a special calendar to influence the billing settlement dates. But I did not get what I wanted.....Still trying.

Here is my config of the billing plan (OVBI):

It's working fine for contracts starts before 28th of the month. The dates shifting only happen when the contract starts in the last 3 days of the month. I thought it's standard behaviour?

Start date      11      Contract Start Date

End date        09      Contract End Date

Horizon         52      Horizon 1 Year

Dates from      11      Contract Start Date

Dates until     09      Contract End Date

Next Bill. Date 53      Monthly

Hi Qi Yu,

Please check the billing plan type settings.

Check what you have defined in 'origin of general data', and 'Billing data: date proposal" sections. Most likely, you would find answer in that setttings.

Are you using some billing plan or what? How you have configured monthly billing for contratcS? Please explain this so that I may look into this.
