Settlement to Fixed Asset

Hi,

Is it possible to directly settle cost from WBS to Fixed asset. We don't want to settle to AUC first and then to fixed asset.

yes we can settle wbse directly to asset, but the settlement process should not be periodic and
should be one time settlement to asset from wbse. thereafter asset depreciation starts. discuss with your fi consultant before going further.

Hi,

I had discussion with FI consultant.

If the project is getting completed within the same financial year then there is no impact on trial or book of accounts.

But in case project is falling over more than one fiscal years then it becomes mandatory to settle at fiscal year end to AUC otherwise there will be a problem as expenses are not carry forward to next year.

yes you can do it in standard sap system.
