ChaRM: Approval Procedure

Fellow Members,

Is it possible to have 2 Approval procedure for a single transaction type (ZMCR). In the Txn Type settings, If I maintain the filed Appr. Det Procedure filed empty it takes IT Approval Procedure as default and greys out.

I wish to have a dropdown giving me 2 approval procedure for each Change Request . How will I do this?

Thanks. The post is about creating Z Approval Procedures. I already have 2 approval procedures (Z1 and Z2). Now, my doubt is how do I assign both these approval procedures for ZMCR. I wish to see both approval procedures in dropdown as seen in above screenshot.

Hi Vivek,

Here is what you need:

1) Create all procedures you want to see in dropdown list.

2) Now assign all them to Approval Determination Procedure.

Go to Define Approval Determination Procedures

Now double click on Assign default Approval Procedures

3) Assign this Approval Determination Procedure to Transaction type in your case ZMCR

Thank You very much ! It worked.

By looking at your screenshots I realized where I was making a mistake.

It was silly though. I created 2 approval procedures (Z1 and Z2). And when I was assigning them to a Approval Determination Procedure, I went wrong. Instead of having a single Approval Det. Procedure (Z3) and assigning both Z1 and Z2 to Z3, I created 2 approval det. procedures and assigned them individually. Something like Z1 to Z4 and Z2 to Z5.

Now I am having what I always wished for...
