Status Synchronization from Project Phase to the Item DP doesn't work PPM 5.0

Hello Guru's;

I make the Status Synchronization from Project Phase to the Item DP, but doesn't work!!

I configure the follow status:

DFM4

Source	Target	Old Status	New Status	Operation	Name Op.

PD	PDCP	220 Initial	350 Complete	DFM3	Close

when I change status from Phase Any of those status  doesn't work to the Item DP.

Hi,

Only Works from Decisión Point to the Project Phase status and not from Project Phase to the Item Decisión Point!!

How did you solve this. I'm struggling to get this synchronization to work from Item DP to Project Phase.

I have mapped Item DP with Project Template Phase

I have made config "Map Portfolio Management Status to DFM BUsiness Transaction" (the outbound from Portf. Mgmt.) Here I have the old and new status of the Item DP mapped to DFM3 (Complete).

I have mapped config "Map DFM BUsines Transaction to Project / Initiative Business Transaction" (The inbound to Cproj.) Here I have project phase as target with Bus Trans: DX18 (Complete phase) and Item DP bus trans: DFM3 (complete) as source.

What am I missing?

PPM 5.0 sp7.

Hi Morten;

My synchronization works wrong in some cases, I have a OSS message with SAP.

Why you mapped Ítem DP with Project Template Phase? Are you sure that it's a Template Phase?

Hi Mariano.

I mapped the Item DP with Template phase because my Project Management Project is created from a Project Template, but I'm not sure if this config is necessary?

The reason I mapped this was, actually, because I was thinking of how the system would know that I needed the Phase change to happen when closing the first Item DP. So I mapped the first Item DP with the Phase of the Project Template (I only have one phase).

Porft. Mgmt -> Global Customizing -> Portf. Independent Settings -> Map Item Type to Project Template or PS Project

I've added screenshots of the outbound from Portf. mgmt. and Inbound from DFM.

Hello Morten;

Ok. You mapped the Ítem DP to the Phase Project Template.

But this configuration doesn't mather.

I think you have ton configure this SPRO functionalities:

1) Map Project / Initiative Business Transaction to DFM Business Transaction.

2) Map DFM Business Transaction to Project / Initiative Business Transaction.

3) Map Portfolio & Project Management Status to DFM Business Transaction.

4) Map DFM Business Transaction to Portfolio Management  Status.

I think that you forgot to configure the las configuration "Map DFM Business Transaction to Portfolio Management Status"

Where do you tested?

Try to configure it.

I only need the synchronization to happen from Item DP to Phase (Item leading scenario).

So do I still need to configure the no. 1 an 4 SPRO functionalities?

Sorry for my late response, I returned from vacations.

The point 1 and 4 it's not necessary for Ítem DP to Project Phase.
