Hello communities,

We are in the step to upgrade our ECC 6.0 to ECC 6.5

We did the following :

1. Generate the XML via the MOPZ (Option Upgrade with Enhancement Package Installation)

2. Download all the files links to this XML stacks

The current release and the target release were well regognize. by MOPZ

3. Put all the files in a download directory with the XML

4. Start the SUM (Software Update Manager 1.6)

5. Pass all the preparation steps

6. The source release and the target relese were well detected by SUM

But in the phase PREP_INPUT/SELSTACKXML_ASK

I've got the following error :

ETQ373 parameter "EV_MESSAGE" = "The stack configuration is not valid for the system XXX, inst.-no. XXXXXXX"

In the log SELSTACKXMLA.LOG (I can see)

1 ETQ201 Entering upgrade-phase "PREP_INPUT/SELSTACKXML_ASK" ("20130530062442")

HI,

check note Note 1134872 - Maintenance Optimizer: FAQ for Stack Delta Files

Please check the following in the files for inconsistency concerning the "System Number" that was assigned to "**** Not Yet***" in the *.txt & *.XML file this is a problem listed before in the forum.

Maybe also incorrect system numbers assigned.

If you find inconsistency correct it in the LMDB regenerate the "XML" in my Solman and download the MOPZ again and rerun SUM from scratch.

Hi

what inst.num. is written in the xml?

Have you tried to see if there several xml in the directory? If you remove for a test the xml, is it stopping before?

Did you update the executables before start with the upg?

Let me know
