SAP Logon Pad favorites cannot be saved

Hello,

I'm using SAP GUI 7.30 Patch 4 Hotfix 1.

I configured the distribution of the configuration as specified in SAP note 1426178. Everything works perfectly when I am using SAP Logon. But when I am using SAP Logon Pad, the favorites are not saved.

Am I doing something wrong or is this working as intended?

Hello Charles,

Saplogonpad entries are read-only, and therefore, favourites cannot be added.

If you add favourites in saplogon.exe then they will show up in saplgpad.exe (saplogonpad),

but you cannot add favourites (or any entries directly into saplgpad.exe.

Hello Abdul,

Sorry but both of these notes don't apply... And the 2 solutions for those notes is to update to a new version of SAP GUI. As I stated in my original post, I am on the latest version (7.30 release 2, patch 4, hotfix 1)

I think there is no issue of SAP Version, You can apply the Note instruction on latest SAP GUI. You just follow the instruction and apply the latest patch of SAP GUI.
