how to close a discussion

Where and how do I close a discussion started by me.

mariking question "Answered" indicates that your thread closed.

Hi Vicky,

Once you choose correct answer among the replies you get, it says the discussion is closed. But one can reply on the same and it will be visible to everyone.

There is no option to delete the thread.

Moderators of particular Forum, can lock/block the thread. So that no one can reply on the same thread.

If you don't want to get mails regarding the same thread, you can click "Stop Tracking" under Actions on the right pane of your question.

Hi Vicky,

if someone answers your question under their reply you we will get two boxes with star. one is correct answer and another one is Helpful answer.

once you mark it as correct answer then that thread will be closed.

you can also mark it as helpful answer if that reply helps you.

two boxes will appear as long you dont mark correct answer/helpful answer.

if you face any issues related to this you can check with space http://scn.sap.com/community/support

may be you can raise a thread telling your issues.
