installation problem on eclipse for HANA

Hi Experts

  I am new to HANA. I just now downloaded latest version of eclipse juno and then i want to install the plug in of all the ABAP components for HANA, SAPUI5 and for ABAP. I followed all the procedure to install the plug in for eclipse for HANA but finally ended only in error. Please see the below screenshot the error i am getting. I have installed JAVA jdk1.7.0_21 and in the network connection i have set the proxy as 8080. But still when i put the https://tools.hana.ondemand.com/juno  on install new software i am getting the error could not find https://tools.hana.ondemand.com/juno . I dont know why i am getting this error.

  kindly someone help to solve this error.

Hi All

  I have sloved the issue finally. The problem is with JDK1.7 version. Some how i deleted all the JAVA packages and installed JRE7 and installed eclipse freshly and upload all the plug-in again. Its started working fine now. Now i can use all the SAPUI5 developements.

I do not have idea on your problem but did lot of analysis on your issue.

Prerequisites:

Eclipse Platform: Juno, version 4.2 or higher

Operating System:

Windows OS (XP, Vista, or 7) 32- or 64-Bit, or

Apple Mac OS X 10.6, Universal 64-Bit, or

Linux distribution

Java Runtime: JRE version 1.6 or higher, 32-Bit or 64-Bit

SAP GUI:

For Windows OS: SAP GUI for Windows 7.20, patch level 9 or higher

For Apple Mac or Linux OS: SAP GUI for Java 7.20, revision 6 or higher

Microsoft VC Runtime

For Windows OS: DLLs VS2010 for communication with the back-end system is required.

NOTE: Install either the 'x86' or the 'x64' variant, accordingly to your 32- or 64-Bit Eclipse installation.

Follow the below steps:

Step 1. Visit the site https://tools.hana.ondemand.com/index.html

and look into Troubleshooting point which is at the bottom of the link and also have a look on other links under latest updates.

Step 2. The above is the HOME tab only and could not resolve your issue then click on ABAP tools tab of the link in Step 1 which tells about the procedure to install.

Also check other tabs too like Cloud tools, Gateway tools, SAP UI 5 tools.
