Content Server 640 / IIS - Websites not available

Hi all,

I have installed Content server 6.40 with MAXDB - 7.6 version in our landscape and also received the successful completion message as well. After the instlllation when I try to check the installation status using the URL

http://<hostname>:<portno.>/Cache/CSProxyCache.dll?serverInfo

It says nothing or nothing is appearing

When I check the status in inetmgr (IIS7), I could see that websites are nothing published for content server and also cache server (I ensured that I have selected the nodes of HTTP server specifically). However, things are not appearing and I am wondering about the status or am i missing anything

Anyone, please guide me so to get it done

Hi Vinoth,

Could you check this link

http://<hostname>:<portno.>/ContentServer/ContentServer.dll?serverInfo

Also check in IIS -> Web applications whether you see SAP content server & SAP Cache Server.

If not then there are some issues with your installation.

Did you check the "Install Website" while installing Content Server and Cache Server, for both? You should see the Web Sites in IIS Manager.
