Intrastat on SAP SRM

Dear SAP SRM gurus,

I would like to understand what is the way SAP suggests to manage Intrastat requirements. I have a few questions I would like to ask in order to get a complete picture over this requirement:

- Intrastat on SAP SRM v.6 or below: I am aware of the existance of a SAP Note (1231231) which describes the steps to follow in order to implement the missing functionality. However, such a note is valid only for Extended Scenario. What about Classic Scenario?

- Intrastat on SAP SRM v.7: are there any standard functionalities available? What about Classic Scenario?

Hi Gio,

do you really need INTRASTAT functionality in classic scenario? This is for reporting goods movements, and those you have in the classic scenario in ECC.
