Is there any way to find this out?

Thnks a lot.

Hi,

thanks for your input.

SVERS and UVERS shows the information for the current versions, not what I am looking for.

What I was looking for is mentioned in tables UVERS_HIST or PAT03, a colleague helped me...

Best regards

Hello

How to find first installed version of SAP server?

For sure the tables I have mentioned are the ones to find the present release and installed components version. The table UVERS_HIST is only a copy of UVERS and CVERS tables.

Maybe I didnt understand your requirement just because of your question.

Good Luck

Hello

To find system release information check the database table SVERS

You can also check the table UVERS for some upgrade information

By the way what does this menu show :

System - Status - SAP System Data - Component Version

Hi,

Maybe you can see this on your marketplace installation not sure if there is history or if you can request it. But I doubt otherwise you will find out if used to be R2 i.e. that was many moons ago.

Hi Johan,

I am sorry again, I did not see such information anywhere there.

As I know the marketplace does not give historical information.

Hi Christian

Goto transaction sm51, and click (not double click) on the the Database

server and then click on release notes. there you will see the SAP R/3

kernel and patch level etc.

Hi Sriram,

this is not what I am looking for.

What you mention is the information from the kernel, not wich release was once installed.

Thanks.
