PGP Encryption with SFTP Advantco Adapter

Hi Experts

I have a scenario to send the files to SFTP server using PGP Encryption with PI 7.0. We had purchased Advantco Adapter. But i am not aware of how and where to deploy the Public provided by 3rd Party, how to deploy PGP module for 7.0 and what are the configuration steps to do.

Please help on the request.

SDM on PI 7.0

AdvantcoOpenPGPKeyManager_71_UserGuide

AdvantcoOpenPGPModules_71_UserGuide

Thanks for the Reply. I have other question, is it mandatory that we should use Public Key for SFTP adaptor without using PGP encryption. Can you please help me with the question.

Hi Guys,

Therefore anybody deployed  AdvantcoSFTPAdapter.lic ?

Usually we get a license key from advantco.com.

1. How to deploy or store a new AdvantcoSFTPAdapter.lic file in PI 7.1 higher application.

2. Is there any prerequisite or pre-steps to be taken care.

3. Is PI box or any one component enough to restart is required?

for example: message or AFC

Hi Rajesh,

I think the basic requirement for PGP module is PI 7.11. If in that case, you cannot achieve the same with PI 7.0
