Change Account Assignment details in SC during approval phase

Hello All,

We know that, as a standard, approvers are not allowed to change Account assignment details in shopping cart during approval stage (Process Type: Approval Only).
However, we have a special requirement to open these fields for edit by manager during approval phase.

Extensions & Field Control does not allow me to make these fields editable. So, is there any BADI (or any other method) that can fulfill my requirement ?

I did try this a few days back, but when I try to add the class /SAPSRMCL_PDO_DYN_MDF_WRKFLOW and method GEN_FIELD_BO_ITM_FOR_APPROVER to table view /SAPSRM/V_MDF_IC, I do not find the structure field names for A/c assignment related fields for shopping cart object.

Am I missing anything here?

Hi,

Accounting Data is a substructure of item data so you won't find it directly in item data. check view /SAPSRM/V_MDFSBC and choose Set Type Accounting.

That should work.
