Hi ,
I am doing this Scenario , IDOC --- > PI ----> File
My reuirement is to set the file name like " filename_YYYYMMDD_HHMMSS.dat ".
A group of idocs are triigered in ECC based on the requirement using POIM transactiion , but some idocs are triggering with 1 or 2 secends delay, so i am unable to append this idocs to the same file which is generated by previous idocs.
For Ex: Out of 200 idocs first 150 idocs having the same time, and rest are delayed by 1 or 2 secs.
How can i achieve this, please help me to combine all the idocs information into a single file .. ?
Thanks,
Dhileep
Hi,

you can send multiple IDOCs from ECC to PI (combined) and then you will have one file in PI :
a) you need to select in WE20 - schedule IDOC and not immediate sending
b) run the sending report in ECC
c) make correct settings in sender IDOC adapter channel (to accept packages)
it's described in my article on SDN under - sender idoc adapter packaging,

hi Michal,
By scheduling the Idocs, we can hold the idocs. But the number of idocs to be generated from ECC is not fixed to a specific number, its based on the selection of POIM.
For ex : If the number of idocs resulting from POIM is more than 200, but packaging is fixed to 200, then the rest of idocs will be populated in the next PI message. So finally can`t see the all idocs in a single file.
Please suggest me to resolve this issue.
Thanks,
Dhileep

You can do the above experts mentioned way. There is an another approach if you want to use ccbpm.
Use collect pattern and collect the idocs , map to single file. But ccbpm might cause some performance issues if the sender side has more number of idocs.
