Document Distribution: alert on personal mail / SAP express mail

Hi Experts,

My customer wants whenever document distribution is done then there should be alert on the personal mail ID mapped with the SAP user ID so that he becomes immediately aware that he has received a document or is it possible to do the document distribution using express mail.

Please suggest and help.

Hi Pankaj,

I understand your requirement as you require a mail in their personal mail ID along with SAP mail box,/ using sap distribution from web.

As per my knowledge there is some config for sending mails to outside SAP , check with basis team, Since this requirement we had and configured along with basis in our project and able to send mails but some ABAP work may require since we are changing our normal triggering point.

document distribution using express mail

you can use web ui component so that you can use SAP transaction directly from web.
