DB migration doubt (From SQL 2005 to SQL 2008)

Hi experts,

I think this going to be an easy question for you. First, let me give you the scenary: I have one server with SAP ERP 6 and SQL 2005 on Windows 2003 server, and now I am installing again SAP ERP 6, SQL 2008 on Windows 2008 server in different hardware; so my question is: what is the best way to migrate the DB? Can I do an export and then an import or what would you suggest according to your experience?

Hope you can give me some clues.

Hello Ruben,

If you do not want to use deatach/attach, you use backup/restore and per note 151603.

Remember to perform the post steps.
