IW41 advanced shipment

Dear All,

We are using advanced shipment through service order in combination with hours. Once goods issue is posted for the consignment delivery, hours are confirmed via IW41. To book out goods from consignment these have to be added manually. Is there a possibility goods are suggested automatically during IW41 confirmation?

Hi Debby,

put the materials you want to show up in iw41 in the list of components in the service order. The system will create a reservation and this is the reason why they will show up in iw41.

The materials are shipped via de component list in the service order via advanced shipment. When creating the delivery reservation is removed and stock assigned to the delivery. You are correct if stock is not shipped to the customer via an advanced shipment.

In order to do Goods movement via IW41

you have to activate the Back Flushing indicator at

1. Component tab

2. Task list

3. Material

after checking the Backflush indicator then try to do Goods movement from IW41

As already mentioned when using black flush confirmation is done in the background. We want the user to see what components are confirmed.

you will retrieve the data

We are working on ECC6.0 selection profile SAP011 is not available. However when displaying all columns i do not get any information regarding goods movements. Or are you referring to something else?

Back flush is not activated. We want the user to see what component(s) being confirmed.
