NWDS and SDM compatibility

Hi,

I use Netweaver Development Studio (7.0.11 200701062019) and connects to SDM to deploy Java EAR files.

Previously I am having no error but when the SDM is upgraded to 7.0112.20120802132044.0000, I am getting this error:

Server 151.162.102.26 did not accept login request as apiadmin on port 50118 - Logon failed, version of client incompatible with SDM server version or configuration. For reference check SAP note 1724516

The note suggested that I upgrade the NWDS version, but would anyone know what version should I upgrade to? (Alternateively, point to the documentation where I could find the mapping)

Hi Brian,

Referring to the note logon to the java stack of you sap system http://hostname:port/index.html

View the system info i.e.  System Information -> All components

Verify your SPS level of you SDM and  SAPJTECHS, SAPJTECHF etc components.

As per the note view the new SPS level required for these.

As per noe with your version of netweaver developer studio

NW DEVELOPER STUDIO 7.00	SP024	000002
NW DEVELOPER STUDIO 7.00	SP025	000002
NW DEVELOPER STUDIO 7.00	SP026	000002
NW DEVELOPER STUDIO 7.00	SP027	000000

So if you NWDS is running SP24 you need to update to patch level 2.

Do the same for the other components mentioned in the note and relevant to your system.

Check the note more carefully.
