SAP UI5 Developmenet - Prerequisites

Hi All,

We are proposing for a SAP UI5 application , Please do let me know what are backend ECC infrastructure needed.

My worry about is  there any dependency on JRE version and Netweaver version.

Please share if you ahve any SAP OSS Notes.

Currently : We are on ECC 6.0 EHp 5 and Netweaver 7.02 SP08.

To quickly summarize you will need to Install UI Run-time Add-on on your Back-end SAP System and then you will need UI Tools on your client (front-end) system for development of these UI5 Applications.

Installation :Tools required :

• Eclipse Juno Latest :
• Tomcat Apache (Server) or Netweaver Portal CE 7.3 for deployment
• SAP UI 5 Plug-in installed in SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio/Eclipse.
• HTML5 browser support (Works best in Google Chrome)
• Install UI5 Tool kit from this link :
