Issue setting up connectivity btw SAP MII and PI

Dear Experts,

When trying to connect to PI using Web Services, the call does not go through and we get an error that the requested resource not found. Instead of the normal web service call now we do an HTTP Post call from PI to MII. The call goes and the transaction is getting called now, but no input transaction properties data is getting passed to the transaction. The transaction just gets triggered with no values coming in so gets into an error. The transaction error is also not getting transmitted back to PI and it shows successful transmission of message at PI side. The log viewer in MII also does not show any details of the data being sent.

I guess there should not be any problem from PI side as we face similar issue when trying to do a HTTP post from external third party software also to MII.

Has anyone idea of why such weird issue is coming? Is there any configuration which might be missing / incorrect at SAP MII end?

Any pointers are highly appreciated.

Hi Saumya,

Can you share the HTTP request URL which you are using to call the MII Transaction?

what is the content type which you are using in the URL?

Its "application/x-www-form-urlencoded" or "text/xml"?

Thanks for your response.

This issue is solved now. The problem was that the PI we have here is configured in a way that we can only send the data asynchronously and with sending only once. After changing these parameters in the HTTP_XI action we are able to make it work.
