PDO Layer error when oppening a PO from POWL

Dear all,

We have implemented SRM7 in a classic scenario where POs are stored in FI (backend) remote system.

We have created a custom feeder class for POWL in order to search the POs stored on the remote system. The POWL is working fine but when we try to open the PO in display mode we have the error: PDO Layer Error. The error does not provide more information. We think this error is due to standard functionality is searching the PO on SRM instead of on the backend, but we're not sure.

In order to help us to find the error we have tried assingning to the user the standard roles Operational Purchaser (ERP/SRM) and Operational Purchaser (ERP) on Portal side and /SAPSRM/OP_PURCHASER_ERP and /SAPSRM/OP_PURCHASER_ERPSRM on SRM side but the POWL for these roles does not returns any entry. We think that we should activate something on SPRO that we have missed.

  Please, could you help us?

Thanks in advance,

Regards

Hello Yaiza,

I already replied in a thread of someone having the same issue.

I know you have already assigned de proper roles in the Users you are using to test but by standard release they do not have the related profiles created, so you must enter with PFCG to the roles assigned and generate the profiles for them.

Without these profiles, the user is unauthorized by server layers to access to PDO and BO layers.

Kind Regards,

Award points if useful.
