cannot release Transport

Hi All,

In our landscape We are having Dev, Qua and Prod system. Right now Qua is alone down. can We release transport right now when Qua is down?

Also We are getting the below error

"test call of tp ended with return code 0012":

generally speaking yes. But then for example it depends where is your transport directory (the phisycal files have to be written somewhere that is up & running)

And it depends also on witch system is the trasnport domain...if the transport domain is the QA system it must be active.

Hi ,

Please check the TP tool from STMS initial screen

STMS->System overview->SAP System->Check-> do all the 3 checks.

If all the checks are successful, then paste the error log of that particular transport.

If checks are failing, then you may have to download the TP again from marketplace

Please provide further error logs? what do you seen when you drill down on the error 12?

Hi Anv,

Before releasing TR  in your system RSTPTEST should work ,hen only it will allow you to relese teh TR.
