Data Matrix Barcode in Smartforms

Hello!

We have to print Data Matrix barcode in a SmartForm.

Does anybody know a solution how to print it out of a standard SAP environment.

We do not have a problem to print another 2D-Barcode like Barcode PDF417 because it is supported.

We just miss the Data Matrix Barcode. Any other barcode than Data Matrix is not accepted.

Hello David,

we used SAP Add-on that generates the barcode DMC.

I then created the corresponding print programs and Smart Forms.

I did find the software of Suchy MIPS also and tried it. I think it the best solution for our purpose. How is your experience with the software?

Hi Miachel,

my experience with SuchyMips are very good. We have been working very long with these add on's.

Also, the implementation in Smart Forms or SAPscript is not difficult.

It is inexpensive and works with all PCL printers.

I have just changed our label for the customer to VW AUDI GTL label (KLT) version 4.

thanks for the link. I also did find the link before, but we are looking for a solution that is just implemented on the SAP System and not on a printserver.
