Hover Text Not Displaying While Creating Webi Report from Relational Universe

Hi folks,

I am currently using IDT Version: 14.0.4.v20120611-0738 and have created a sample universe MySales putting a description "This is a Test" for all the objects and classes/folders.

My requirement is to see that description in the hover text/Mouse over text while creaing a report on this universe using Web Intelligence.

Surprisingly, I can see the description in the hover text/Mouse over text for all the objects (measures and dimemsions) but when it doesn't show for any fodlers/classes.

Attached is the screenshot for the issue.

However, I am able to see the description for all the objects and classes/folders using Information Desgin Tool. The problem only comes up when I use Webi To create a report on universe made on IDT.

Please can I get adviced on this issue?

Hi Ashish,

I believe the behaviour you have mentioned above happens when the Preference for Web Intelligence is set to "Web".

You will be able to view the Description for Classes as well while Mouse hover if the Preferences are set as "Rich Internet Application".

Kindly try from your end and let me know if it works.
