Try this.

1. enabling history:

  - go to SAP login

  - customize local layout (Alt+F12) [the colored screen icon]

  - options

  - local data

  - history

  - change history status to OFF > apply then again ON > apply

2. Clear History

  - in the same location where you are just click "Clear History" button

3. Delete old History data:

  - in the same location also, go to the input history path and copy it

  - go the browser and paste the path

  - you will find an MDB file usually named "SAPHistoryXXXXX"

  - delete this file

  - close all open windows including SAP GUI

  - run SAP and login, problem should be resolved

Hi mathew

In Sap logon pad system properties - check the network speed settings if the setting is set to 'low speed' you may not get the input history, kindly refer the attachment screen short

Thanks

As far as I know,MDAC is part of the Windows 7 OS,so the only way to repair it would be

to remove and reinstall it again.

Starting with patch 5 of 7.30 GUI,the history will be taken from the jet database and the ACES one

will be used instead.

Hopefully, this will improve things a bit.

Hello Joji,

Is this a local workstation installation,or a Citrix or WTS installation?

Suggest following note below and report your findings.
