SPAM stuck on MOVE NAMETABS finished with returncode 0

HI,

The SPAM process is stuck on MOVE NAMETABS finished with returncode 0, actually what happened was the SPAM process got interrupted since the server was restarted, and since then this error is there. I have tried to resolve by removing all the files from tmp folder, but no success.

I updated tp, and issue is solved. Thanks for the help everyone.

Hi Sandeep,

Regarding your issue, can you please perform the steps specified below

for resolving the issue

Ensure that no tp processes are running at the OpSys level before

proceeding with the next steps.

Ensure that there exists no clogged entries in TRBAT,TRJOB,TRBATS &

TPSTAT table entries. If exists remove them.

Please rename all the files under /trans/tmp, or relocate them to

another temp directory.

Ensure that RDDIMPDP job is scheduled in ALL clients including

client 000 as DDIC user.

Repeat the hanging SPAM phase.

Hi,

Try michaels suggestion, also

SPAM -> Utilities -> Dissassemble support package then

Extras ->  Reset status -> Queue

and restart import.

Just try to restart SPAM by hitting the little truck button on the left. It usually picks up where it was interupted.

Hello Sandeep,

Was the SPAM executing in background/dialog when the restart happened?

Was the SAP system restarted or the OS?

If the SPAM job was executing in background, check if job OCS_QUEUE_IMPORT is still running? alternatively check in SM50  if any WP is hung.

At which phase of the SPAM was the server restarted. In case you have access to OS level, check if the tp process is still active.

also execute this command at OS level as sidadm

tp showbuffer <SID> pf=/usr/sap/trans/bin/TP_DOMAIN_<SID>
