hi friends , i have a doubt regarding transporting scripts , could any one please clarify my doubt...
thanks in advance..
Hi,
Standard Text doesn't asks for a request when you save. You need to create the request and attach the standard text to the request.
Follow the procedure:
1. Go to SE09.
2. Double click on the Transport request.
3. Click on the Objects tab.
4. Program ID --- R3TR
5. Object Type --- text
6. Object name -- textname, texid, textlanguage.

Hi Chaitanya,
First made the changes what ever u want and last while saving it should ask for the request number. Then save and actiete it. Now execute SE09 and transport that script from development to quality. Supposu u inscribed your standard text in SO10 then by using RSTXSCRP program you may transport that standard text from development to quality.Hope this helps,
Regards,
Kumar.

Hi,
Check the steps..
Create a workbench request in SE09..
Place the cursor on your task..
In the menu..
Choose Request / Task -> change type
Select the development/correction..
Press enter..
Now execute the program RSTXTRAN ..
Give the standard text details..
Give the task number and not the request number..
Add it to the Transport..
Release the task the and CR..
Hope this works..
