How to create a canonical structure in SAP PI..?

Hi Priya,

If you have the schema of the message, you can directly import the schema into PI.

If you plan to design it, you can create a data type. It is just an amalgamation of structures which are  re-usable across scenarios.

Hi Ambrish/Vikas,

Thanks for your reply. I have some basic idea that it a global structure which can be reusable for other scenarios as well. Can you please let me know if there any guidelines or reference document which i can use to build those structure.

Canonical structures essentially means application independent structures - useful especially if multiple sending and receiving systems are involved .
